CODEXIS AI pricing: licence, credits and implementation
You pay for a CODEXIS AI Chat or CODEXIS AI Agent licence and for AI credits according to actual use. The licence price depends on which modules you need, for how many people and how you deploy the system, so we prepare it individually.

What the price consists of
The price is made up of a CODEXIS AI Chat or CODEXIS AI Agent licence and AI credits. Implementation of CODEXIS AI Agent by a partner may be added. Training is free.

CODEXIS AI Chat or CODEXIS AI Agent licence
CODEXIS AI Chat is legal AI over the CODEXIS content in the browser. CODEXIS AI Agent additionally works with your files, storage and systems. The licence price depends on the chosen product, the number of modules, the number of users and the deployment model. We prepare it individually based on your enquiry.

AI credits
Paid separately, outside the licence. Every AI task, for example case law research or a contract analysis, deducts a certain number of credits from the package. The packages have a public price list and the licence administrator can top them up at any time in the Credit Management application.

Implementation
Offered only for CODEXIS AI Agent and delivered by our implementation partner AgiLawyer: needs analysis, deployment, team training and long-term support. The partner invoices it according to scope, it is not included in the licence or the credits.

Training
We run a basic training webinar every month free of charge. The lecturer shows the work directly in the application, from research to custom AI assistants. Recordings of CODEXIS AI training are in the documentation without registration.

Two firms with the same headcount can pay different amounts. The licence price is set by three things that differ for every customer.
Number of modules
There are dozens of modules a licence can be built from: from legislation and case law through commentaries and templates to sector databases and monitoring applications. A law firm needs a different mix than the HR department of a manufacturing company or a public authority. Each module has its own price and you only pay for the ones you choose.
Number of users
The licence is priced per user, but not linearly. As the number of people grows, the price per user falls, and large licences can be split into groups with their own administrators and limits. AI credits are shared by the whole licence, you do not buy them per person.
Deployment model
The cloud solution runs without installation and without your own infrastructure, you pay only the licence and credits. For organisations with strict data requirements we offer on-premise operation in their own environment, which has different installation and operating costs, and therefore a different price. With CODEXIS AI Agent it also matters what you connect to it, for example SharePoint, a network drive or your own systems through the API.
That is why we prepare a tailored quote instead of a licence price list. We only need to know which modules you need, for how many users and whether you want CODEXIS AI Chat or CODEXIS AI Agent. Our sales representative prepares the quote after an introductory meeting and an assessment of your needs.

AI credits are paid separately and drawn across the whole licence. The bigger the package, the lower the price per credit. Prices exclude VAT.

How many credits a task costs depends on the chosen model and the size of the materials. Worked examples of typical tasks and package capacity are in the documentation. The licence administrator sees consumption in the Credit Management application, sets limits for users and tops up credits whenever they run out.

How much does CODEXIS AI cost?
The price consists of a CODEXIS AI Chat or CODEXIS AI Agent licence and AI credits. We price the licence by the chosen product, the number of modules, the number of users and the deployment model, so we prepare it individually. Credits have a public price list starting at CZK 5,000 for a package of 2 million credits.
Do I pay for every user?
The licence depends on the number of users, but the price per user falls with the size of the licence. AI credits are not paid per user, one package is shared by everyone on the licence.
How are credits bought and topped up?
Credits are paid separately from the licence. The licence administrator can top them up at any time in the Credit Management application, where they also see consumption and set limits. Departments can create a shared credit account and pay for credits from their own budget.
Is implementation included in the price?
No. We offer implementation only for CODEXIS AI Agent and it is delivered by our partner AgiLawyer, who invoices it according to scope. CODEXIS AI Chat needs no implementation, you start working right after signing in.
How much does training cost?
We run a basic training webinar every month free of charge. Recordings of CODEXIS AI training are in the documentation without registration. Expert webinars with guests from practice are paid.
Is CODEXIS AI free for students?
Students and teachers with an Academia licence have a flat rate and a student model. The conditions are on the students page in the For whom section.
What is the difference between CODEXIS AI Chat and CODEXIS AI Agent?
CODEXIS AI Chat answers legal questions over the CODEXIS content and works with the documents you attach. CODEXIS AI Agent additionally works directly with your files and storage, runs automations and can be integrated with your systems. Agent costs more and is the only product for which we offer partner implementation.
