Custom AI assistants
Custom AI assistants in the CODEXIS system are a revolutionary tool that allows users to tailor artificial intelligence to their specific needs.
Users can create an assistant focused on a particular area of law, for example criminal law, tax law, family law, or traffic offenses.
When creating an assistant you can set
- its behavior,
- the legal regulations that are primary for generating answers,
- the answer style,
- the preferred language,
- add your own set of starter questions.
For each new chat, the user can choose and switch to a suitable assistant. In this way, the AI assistant becomes an effective helper that understands the specific legal framework and the user's working style.
A custom AI assistant enables customization for "power users". CODEXIS automatically supplements the instructions of a custom AI assistant with formatting and referencing instructions. If you wish to keep your own instruction in its original form, place the following text on the first line of the instructions:

CODEXIS also lets you replace certain variables in the instruction text with their actual values. This happens exactly once, at the moment a new chat is created.
