9. Applications
What it is: Applications are specialized tools for ongoing monitoring — of data, documents, or your own workflow — directly within CODEXIS AI. Unlike a one-off query, applications track a topic over time and automatically prepare regular reports on what's new.
Where to find them: In the left-hand menu under Tools → Applications.
Where they come from: Applications arrive together with installed add-ons and are displayed here grouped by source (e.g. CODEXIS — Legal Database, Land Registry of the Czech Republic).

Available applications
- Monitored documents — tracks changes in legislation and related documents based on CODEXIS ID (e.g. amendments to a specific act).
- Monitored case law — tracks new case law on a given topic and prepares a regular AI report on trends.
- Land Registry — monitored proceedings — tracks the status of land registry proceedings (registration, record entry, caveat) with automatic change detection.
- Czech insolvency watchdog (ISIR) — tracks insolvency proceedings of companies (by company ID / IČO) and persons (name + date of birth) and reports new and changed proceedings (bankruptcy, debt relief, reorganization).
How to add a topic to monitor
Monitoring is set up through the chat — just write in plain language what you want tracked. For example:
„Monitor changes in the Civil Code" • „Monitor the Labour Code" • „Monitor case law on tax-deductible expenses"
A newly created topic then appears in the relevant application. (Until you add anything, you'll see the status „No monitored documents".)

How monitoring works (using Monitored case law as an example)
- Topic overview — for each monitored topic you can see the number of reports, the date of the last check, and a „new" label if a fresh report has been added. You can also full-text search the reports and use the New only toggle to show just the fresh results.

- Topic detail — once opened, you'll find:
- Notes — the brief specifying exactly what should be tracked and in what form (can be edited and added via + Add).
- Reports — a list of individual checks with the date and the number of decisions found. New ones are marked with a New tag.
- The topic can be removed using the Delete topic button.

- Report detail — a specific report contains a brief summary of the findings, an Overview of decisions in a table (date, case reference, court, area, interpretation), and a Breakdown by area with a description of the impact and a practical note. Use the Confirm read button to mark the report as read.

💡 In practice: Applications are ideal for "watchdog" tasks — you don't have to regularly check new case law, amendments to regulations, or the status of land registry proceedings yourself. CODEXIS AI does it for you and notifies you only when something changes.
